Day 3: Toughing it Out

The HR assured me that I would be on the front end by the end of the week. I just need to tough it out, making the aisles pretty during this influx of new customers. Yesterday wasn’t so stressful because we were all on the same page.

A lot of my time was divided between straightening the aisles and helping customers find things. We want to keep the new customer base happy and that’s the catch 22 of working in grocery retail. But hopefully by the end of the week, I’ll be in a more comfortable position is a bagger/cart jockey and not too long after that, I hope they train me on register.

Tomorrow is my first legitimate day off.
