The Path That May Not Be Travelled ~ A Guest Post by John Hardy Wright

I have had the good fortune of knowing local Salem author, John Wright. He is the author of such pictorial histories as Sorcery in Salem and Hawthorne’s Haunts in New England. John has been gracious enough to provide some of his words free of charge in this year’s first guest post.

Please be respectful in the comments section.

I was very surprised to see that the pathway leading to the Common from the end of Winter Street had not been shoveled a day or two after the second mini blizzard. I have not been out to check on it due to the extreme cold, and trust that it is now open for man and beast and medical personnel, if needed.
